The Limited Supply Challenge today on SCS is to use small images 1 1/2" or less as our focal point for the card.  I chose to make a couple quick cards as I love trying to use smaller images.  I’m really supposed to be decorating the house for Christmas Frown but think I will start first thing in the morning.

My first card is made with Merry & Bright out of the SU Holiday Mini.  It is the cutest little set.  I created a scene with a couple stamped trees and the snowman.  I stamped with Stazon and painted with re inkers.  I sponged the sky in and then applied snow with white craft ink  using the snowflake image from Happy Winter and embossed with white embossing powder.  I painted white craft ink on the ground and embossed again. I used a touch of Liquid Applique for the hat and heated. I used my finger to lightly dab Diamond Glaze on the scene and lightly applied little Dazzling Diamond for sparkle.

Stamps:  Merry & Bright, Happy Winter

Paper:  Soft Sky, Blue Bayou, Watercolor

Ink:  Stazon, Soft Sky, Blue Bayou, Wasabi, White Craft

Accessories, Dazzling Diamond, Diamond Glaze, Grosgrain, Nestabilities

My second card is a simple card using two of my new Denami Design images. I used an individual pine cone and pine sprig and Olive and Chocolate Chip craft ink and embossed with clear embossing powder.  I stamped one sprig on scrap paper and cut out to pop over the pine cone. I sponged a little banana around the image to make it pop a little. I like the simple, old fashioned look of this card….but my husband told me it had no wow factor!!!  Thumbs Down ……but I decided to upload it anyway.
