Today is Featured Stamper challenge on SCS and the featured artist is Cutterscallous -Rose Ann. She has a wonderful gallery full of creations to choose from but I love the simple line of this snowman card and thought it would be fun to use a Rubbernecker image that I have. I chose Figgy designer paper and then based my color choices from it. I had this swirled white embossed paper that I got somewhere and thought it would be cute with the snowman to appear like snow flying. I stamped my image with Black Brilliance on watercolor paper and then painted with Adirondack re inkers. I used a baggie full of rice to create a non descript background for the artichoke and cranberry paper. Here’s a fun hint. Adirondack ink is more juicy than the SU ink and I have been happy to find that if I ink a stamp up really well I can actually put clear embossing powder on it and heat emboss. I did that with the Joy sentiment and it really made it pop so much more than the ink alone. This was a fun card to make and Rose Ann has an inspiring gallery. I hope you will go take a look her work.
