This is for the Ways to Use It challenge today on SCS. The challenge was to make a masculine card. My first thought was the Rubbernecker Gone Fishin collection and a row boat drifting in the water. I stamped the boat, painted it with reinker and then sponged the blue water all around it. I added the greener to create a focal point for a little in the distance and added trees and some hand sketched cattails. I made the wooden dock by sketching with my artist pen, painting and cutting out. I stamped a few cattails from the collection painted and cut them to be an embellishment for the front of the card. I added string and then added Diamond Glaze to the water to create the ripple and watery shine effect. This was fun. Too bad I have the boat drifting the wrong way from the dock. Of course, I am always having fun when I get to paint a tree or two.
