Are You Ready For Some MOOSEBALL??

I love Riley the moose.  Who doesn't?  I got home early enough this evening to play in the SCS Sketch Challenge and started browsing through my Riley images.  The size of the main layer was just perfect to use his image.  When I decided on Football Riley I knew I had to make up a whole team.

KC Football Riley

I cut out a mask to cover the first stamped Riley image. I used the mask to cover each image as I went along adding team members for Riley. Of course….the real Riley will always be holding the ball. I taped off the ball for the additional right hand players before inking the image, removed the tape and stamped. I sketched little legs and hooves to complete the players.  I watercolored all the images with reinkers and SU markers.  I used Karen Foster Snap Stamps to create the MU (Moose University) on the front of the jersey's by stamping with white craft ink and embossing with white powder. I added a strip of white craft ink across the helmets to carry over the white from the letters. I cut the top of the scene out so I could pop it up over blue and red for a little more interest.  My nephew, Sam just started his freshman year of college and wants to major in sport journalism so I thought I would send him this card.

  3. My Mason would love this one. But, he won’t be loving football practice tonight in the rain with it being 57 degrees. Oh well, all part of the deal. Too cute and very creative Kittie!
