More Easter Inchies

If you missed the Rubbernecker Blog Stroll, it’s not too late.  You have until 12 Noon EDT today to stroll along with the Rubbernecker Red-Hot Mommas.  All you need do is stroll over to the Rubbernecker Blog and begin your stroll. Comments left on this post will not qualify for the random drawing.

Each of our design team members were given the opportunity to choose which of the newly released Rubbernecker sets we wanted to work with for the release. I was so drawn to the Easter Inchies set with all the adorable images that could be put into scenes. I wanted to share a couple more projects on my post for today.

I love the simple little butterfly image in this set and wanted to create a butterfly flight path over the flower garden.  I wanted to use this May Arts ribbon so I kept my color combination simple to be a perfect match. The little flowers is a three flower image that I stamped and masked several times to create the garden. I used Diamond Glaze and Dazzling Diamond glitter on the flower centers and butterflies to add sparkle but it doesn’t show well in the photo.

Stamps:  Rubbernecker Easter Inchies  Paper: Mauve Mist, Watercolor, Mellow Moss  Ink:  Shell Pink, Mellow Moss, Artichoke, Black Brilliance  Accessories:  May Arts Ribbon, Crimper, Diamond Glaze, Dazzling Diamond EP, Artist Pen, Color Box Stylus and Foam Tip, Liquid Pearls (flower center)

I created the three section scene on regular sheet computer labels for the SCS Ways to Use It challenge yesterday.  Who knew the labels would work so well with coloring.  I hand painted the little yellow flowers in the background. I created the scene while the labels were still on the backing and then pulled off and layered on the yellow paper.

Stamps: Rubbernecker Easter Inchies, Kittie Kits Paper: PTI Summer Sunrise, White, Prism Intense Amethyst  Ink: Adirondack Lemonade, Lettuce, Aqua, Shell Pink, Apricot Appeal, Bashful Blue  Accessories: SU Border Eyelet Border Punch, Grosgrain, Versa Marker, Iridescent Ice EP, Brushes, Color Box Stylus and Foam Tip, Hand cut Cloud Template, Labels

Be sure and head on over to the Rubbernecker Blog and take the stroll to qualify for one free set or the grand prize of all six newly released sets.
