Simple Wildflower Bouquet

The Ways To Use It Challenge on SCS was to find a way to use a single stamped image more than once on our project. The challenge gallery is full of a variety projects from clean and simple to gorgeous and intricate. I went the fast and easy route and did something simple.

I chose to work with this pretty Stampin’ Up! designer paper as I love the color amethyst. The little bit of celery in the contrasting strip was just enough to match my green stems. I stamped the small flower image from Rubbernecker Wildflowers several times on scrap watercolor paper, painted and cut out. I started by gluing the first flower at the top of my white layer with a glue dot and continued adding flowers to create the simple bouquet.  I cut several strips of celery paper for stems, attached to the base of the flowers and added a multi loop bow to finish. This sweet card shows that often “less really is more”.

I am excited that we have a three day weekend coming up and thank goodness Friday is finally here.  I hope you all enjoy your Memorial Day holiday.  I don’t know about you but I have some “relaxing stamping time” on my agenda.
