Time is flying by and it’s my turn again to post more of my CHA projects. It was a wonderful treat getting to create with both of these precious images. The minute I saw Sarah Kay’s Finn Whistling While He Works I knew I wanted him to be working out in the flower garden along the fence line.
Finn was stamped on watercolor paper, colored and cut out to be popped up in the scene. Instead of creating a painted background I used the lovely flowered designer paper and then put all the greenery and flowers in front of the card. I placed Finn walking along the fence line in his lovely sparkly garden.
My second project uses Tina Wenke’s Mailing Letters. This little girl is so sweet stretching to reach the mail drop while her dogs looks on.
I created a green background scene and popped the images up in front of it. I love addding dimension to my projects by mounting a frame over scenes. I think the little dog looks so cute outside the scene looking in.
Finally, I have a Clean and Simple beach scene that I made for the Monday SCS challenge. The challenge was to use The Great Outdoors as our subject. Nothing says outdoors more than the ocean and the Adirondack chair in my Kittie Kits Fun in the Sun just fit perfectly on the frame.
I sponged in the sand and water and then used a circle punch to sponge in the yellow sun. I then covered the sun with the circle and sponged in the sky area. I created the white caps with a white sharpie. I added more foam along the shore with Liquid Applique and dabbed it out with my finger to remove bubbles before I heated. I used a green marker to sketch in the sprigs of greenery.
I hope you have a great day.

Beautiful cards! Love them all!
All three cards are stunning Kittie. The first one is so sweet in the soft blues, love the picket fence. The second card is so adorable! Reminds of when I was a little girl posting a letter to my great-grandmother, and the 3rd card . . . well . . . let’s just say I’m ready for the beach . . . LOL! {{{hugs}}}
Absolutely LOVE all three of your latest cards, totally adorable scenes.
Kittie, each and every card is just amazing! Stunning work and details. Beautiful, beautiful!

Three magnificent cards Kittie. In particular I adore your take on Finn and the beautiful scene you have built around him. The beach card is sooo relaxing; just love how the sand spills out over the frame and of course the chair. {{sigh}}
I love all of your cards. They are so well done. The boy walking along the fence is my favorite, though.
Your little scenes bring stories to my imagination
I love your cards, especially the way you create frames, gorgeous! I especially love Finn! I don’t stamp really myself and so wish he was a digi stamp he would be perfect for my grandson’s 3rd birthday card coming up!
Oh how you make cards come to life, Kittie! LOVE the dimension that is just so on the mailbox card…it’s like looking at a little scene in a children’s book…LOVE!
