Happy Sunday morning. I hope you are enjoying your holiday weekend. It’s always fun to have a three day weekend. My project is iusing a recently released image from Rubbernecker called Wild Garden Corner.
I stamped the image using Peeled Paint Distress Ink and embossed with clear embossing powder. I created a bunch of tiny punched flowers to layer over the flowers in the image. I wanted to add dimension to the silhouette scene. Red and olive are two of my favorite colors to use together for all seasons. I love how the red flowers pop off the creamy paper.
I may have to dawn my bathing suit and get in the pool today. Summer holiday weekends always make me think of swimming and cooking out on the grill and having potato salad, baked beans, corn on the cob and watermelon. Yum. I hope you have a fun holiday with your family and friends.

Oh such marvelous cards, Kittie! I love your bitty red flowers on the Wild Garden stamp.
And the frame provides the perfect setting for the wise old owl!
Please pass the corn on the cob & watermelon!!
