Good Saturday morning! I have a sweet Santa project to share with you today. The image is Santa With Lamb And Reindeer from the Tina Wenke collection from Stampavie’s latest holiday release. I love all the animals in the scene with Santa.
I stamped the image on watercolor paper using Black Versafine and heat set. I watercolored using Distress reinkers mixed with water. I painted lightly over the white areas with white watercolor paint to give a brighter white appearance. I added Liquid Applique to the ground area, patted lightly with my finger to spread evenly and then heated. This creates such a nice snowy look. I created a double matted frame with oval Nestabilities and mounted with mounting tape, I added the evergreen spray with red flowers and bow to create a festive feel and added white Flower Soft to soften. The finishing touch was to add Stickles to the flowers and some of the images. Here are a couple other views.
I hope you have a great weekend. I know I am enjoying being home and playing with my stamps.
