Poinsettias, Pine and Holly

Thanks so much for such a wonderful response to my Card Sale. I am closing the sale for a couple of days to catch up on special orders.

Just for fun last night I created two very similar cards using the poinsettia dies.  I think these may be my favorite of all the Christmas cards I have made this season.  KC Spellbinder Poinsettia Red 2 right

I don’t know about you but I so love how the red poinsettias and green foliage pop against the all white background. Here’s a closer view of both.

The first of the two cards is fuller with added holly leaves and small berries. The larger frame opening gave opportunity to add more foliage. I love the little ribbon loop in the top of the first arrangement and the ribbon tails. Here are a couple more views.

Thanks for coming and looking at my new projects. You can check out my poinsettia tutorial if you would like to see step by step photos of how I make my flowers.  I hope you have a wonderful Sunday and that you have the opportunity to do some paper crafting.

I have had an amazing crafting weekend (yes, I had the entire weekend to myself!) thanks to all of the inspiration I have had from your tutorials and your cards. It’s been a while since I have been this excited to try something new and I thank you for being the inspiration behind my newly generated enthusiasm.

With all the dimension on your cards, what have you found is the best way to send them through the mail without damaging them?
    Thanks – Lynne
