Fast, Clean and Simple Window and Flower Box

Happy Wednesday!  I wanted to play in the Splitcoaststampers Color Challenge last night but didn’t have much time after work.  The colors for the challenge were to use basic gray, turquoise and green and any neutral. I made a quick card with my Poppy Stamps window and flower box dies.  This is kind of stark for me but I really like how the window, flowers and foliage pop against the all gray background.

I used my EK Success Rock Fern and Mini Daisy punches to create the foliage and flowers to fill the window box.  No branch punch in this as I liked the simplicity of the fern foliage.

A totally gray background is not my favorite thing but I think it makes a statement.  It’s all about the window and flowers. Check out my flower spray tutorial if you would like to see how I make my floral sprays.

I am trying to keep my posting streak going as I have only missed a couple of days since the beginning of November. Keep your fingers crossed for me that work doesn’t get in the way.  LOL!

I hope your first week in 2012 is going great.  My first day back to work after being off for more than a week was hectic with what seemed like hundreds of emails to catch up on.  Ugh! I really shouldn’t complain as I am thankful to have a good job.

Paper: Basic Gray, Tempting Turquoise, Kiwi Kiss
Accessories: EK Success Rock Fern and Mini Daisy Punches, Fiskars 1/4" Flower Punch, Poppy Stamps Madison Window and Flower Box, Stylus, Mat, Glossy Accents

  1. It may be different for you but I like the simplicity of it. I hope too, that you can keep of your daily posts because I am selfish and look forward to them. I noticed you posted this at 12:01 AM. Do you ever sleep?
