I have a simple country home scene to share with you today. I was going through my dies to pick out something I haven’t played with in a while and came across the Country House and Country Landscape. I don’t know what it is about this house but I think I have made a pink house with it almost every time I have used it.
I cut the landscape border once in green and then cut the houses out in pink, cut them and attached them over the green houses. I wanted the little background houses to match the main house. I crimped the green ground area and attached it to the card base with mounting tape.
I attached the large house with mounting tape, cut a small grass strip border, crimped it and mounted it in front of the house. I created a tiny cedar sprigs border along the grass line and added tiny little pink flowers. I created little flower boxes under all the windows and over the door. I added several clouds in the background to break up the blue sky and to create another element of dimension. I would like to live in that sweet pink house.
Have a great Tuesday and thank you for stopping by today.

What a lovely peaceful scene. It reminds me of Bermuda, where lots of the houses are pink – not quite the same style, but lots of pink.
