My project today was made using the new Open Scroll Flower paired with Border Duo 1 and Tiny Flowers.

I cut the whole die out in green to create the foliage base of the flower.  I cut the center flower portion of the die out in lavender three times so I could use the individual petals to build a three layer dimensional flower in the center.

I laid each petal face down on the molding pad and formed with smaller end of my stylus.  I also formed the negative leaf cutouts as well.  I began building the flower by attaching the first layer of petals to the die base with glossy accents.  I offset and attached the second layer closer to the center of the flower and repeated the same steps to attach the third until the flower was full and complete.  I finished the flower by adding a large snow  in the center. I attached formed leaves around the flower to fill in. I cut and formed several tiny flowers and attached them around the foliage to add another  touch of color to the arrangement.

I cut the white decorative layer and attached it to the card base with mounting tape.  I attached the whole scroll flower arrangement to the white base with glossy accents. Green, lavender and white is one of my favorite color combinations to use with floral projects.

  7. Kittie, no one sees dies in the same light you do. I’ve seen many of the dies you have used on numerous sites throughout blog land but none of the work measures up to yours. Your showcasing of items is second to none imo.
I love how you have treated the ‘Open Scroll Flower’ die. May I say “ditto” to Pattie Jns comment above (I’ve just read it).
Oh, another beautiful card today Kittie!

  9. You inspired me to buy that die because I adore your card. Love the lavender and green combo but what I really like is how you made the card using the one die. Your cards are always an inspiration and this one will be another one I would like to make. Thanks for the inspiration as always.
