My first project was made using the new Gourd-Jus die set paired with the Happy Thanksgiving sentiment from the Autumn Acorns set.

When I cut the images I noticed that the negatives that would normally be removed stayed in place.  Instead of pushing them out leaving the negative space I secured them all in place on the back with double stick tape.  I wanted the lines of each image to be pronounced when I colored them.  I used distress inks and mini applicators to apply color to the images.  When I was finished applying color I applied versa to the images and heat embossed with clear embossing powder.  Clear embossing makes the colors become much brighter. Check out my Fall Leaves Tutorial in the CLASSroom if you would like to see step by step photos of my coloring process.

I cut frames from the Impression Obsession All-in-one Frames Rectangles 2 and attached them to the card base with thin strips of mounting tape. I attached all the images with mounting tape and arranged all them in a loose design to appear as if they were sitting on a table at the farmers market.  I couldn’t resist putting the two little leaves on the sentiment frame.

My second project was made using the new Christmas Scribbles die set paired with the Christmas Scribbles stamp set.  The twinkly stars in the background are from the new Holly Jolly stamp set and the sentiment is from the Tis the Season set.

I applied the color to the tree portion of the stamp with a distress marker avoiding the little star at the top and stamped the trees across the card base.  I stamped the tree one more time on a separate piece of cardstock to cut out with the new accompanying die.  I used my waterbrush to lightly pull the color down to fill in the open sections of all the trees.

I hand cut the snowy ground layer with deckle scissors and cut the thin frame using my Nesting Card Templates.  I attached the ground piece to the back of the frame with double stick tape and then attached the frame to the card base with  thin strips of mounting tape. The individual tree was attached in the scene with a double layer of mounting tape.  The sentiment was stamped with versa, embossed with gold embossing powder and attached with mounting tape. I added a tiny bit of sparkle to the stars with yellow stickles for the finishing touch..

Not only are those autumn images sponged with distress inks incredible, but that rectangular die with the different frames is beautiful with the autumn images. Both of your cards are amazing, and different, but your first card is a WINNER! I hope to see more of what you create in the future. TFS Kittie
