Impression Obsession Spring Release Blog Hop Day 1

Good Monday morning and welcome to day one of the Impression Obsession Spring Stamp Release Blog Hop! The team will be bringing you wonderful designs for five straight days and there will be gift drawing.  Check out the Impression Obsession blog for all the details.

My project today was made using Dina’s Together Silhouettes.  What a precious set of silhouette images and sentiment.

I stamped the image with black versafine and embossed with black embossing powder. I stamped the umbrella portion of the image again on red cardstock, embossed and cut it out.

I cut the frames,  attached the two smaller ones together from the back using double stick tape and then attached thin strips of mounting tape to each. I started by attaching the larger frame to the card base and then I attached the image layer to the back of the smaller double frame, applied ATG adhesive and attached to the card base. I used rolled up glue dots to attach the umbrella to the scene and finished by adding a few black stems and tiny red flowers for the finishing touch.

  6. Kittie, You have to be one of my most admired card maker (if not the main one). I always look forward to the IO challenges and when you are next in line I think, “Yea, wonder what Kittie has to show”. You never fail me. Your silhouettes are striking and I really like the framing you have added. Plus your details in each step always provides something to learn. Thank you so much for sharing.
