Impression Obsession Spring Release Blog Hop Day 4 and Blog Candy Winner

Good Thursday morning and welcome to day four of our five day Impression Obsession Spring Stamp Release Blog Hop! The team is bringing you wonderful designs to show off the new stamps and there will be gift drawings.  Check out the Impression Obsession blog for all the details.

My project today was made using another of the wonderful silhouette images from Dina’s Together Silhouettes set framed using the All-in-One Frames Rectangles 2 and embellished using the large flowers from the Spring Wreath, Foliage, Leaves and Stems, Tiny FlowersButterfly Set and Small Grass Border.

I began by applying embossing magic to my cardstock and stamping the image with black versafine ink and embossing with black embossing powder. I cut the frames, applrf thin strips of mounting tape to the back of the largest frame and attached to the card base. The two smaller frames were attached together from the back with double stick tape.  The grass border was attached to the back side of the connected frames and then attached to the card base with thin strips of mounting tape.

I cut two sets of Foliage, cut the larger sections apart into smaller pieces, arranged and attached them to the frame with glossy accents to create the foliage base for my flowers..  You can check out my Flower Spray Tutorial if you would like to see some step by step photos of the process I use to create floral sprays. I formed all the large and tiny flowers using my stylus and molding pad and attached them to the foliage.  I cut several stems, attached tiny flowers to them with glossy accents and tucked them in behind the grass layer and attached in place with glossy accents.  I attached butterflies to the frame and base with glossy accents for the finishing touch. I can just imagine two little girls enjoying themselves and twirling around in the flower garden.

  1. Just gorgeous, Kittie!! I wish I could afford to buy all the IO dies that I love instead of having to pick and choose according to what my wallet will allow! 🙂

  4. You really know how to make beautiful cards with the frames. A double frame on this one. You don’t do a lot in purple, so I was pleased to see this. 🙂
    Very nice card Kittie!
