Good Tuesday morning. I have had a good time over my extended holiday weekend making projects for my blog posts. Paper crafting is such a relaxing hobby for me. It is definitely a toss up for me to try and figure out if flower projects or scene projects are my favorite. I love making both. I have a sweet and simple framed floral card to share with you today made using the Impression Obsession Spring Wreath, Foliage, All-in-One Frames Squares 2 and the Taylored Expressions Dotted Lattice.
I attached the white embossed to the card base with thin strips of mounting tape and then followed by using mounting tape to attach both frames. The flowers were formed using my stylus and molding pad from Susan’s Garden Tool Kit and assembled the flower sections together with glossy accents.
I cut two sections of foliage, cut them apart and then attached them to the card base using glossy accents. I attached the flowers to the foliage spray with glossy accents and then filled in the arrangement by adding a few smaller foliage sections. I added tiny snow pearls to the flower centers and four larger ones on the corners of the inner frame. I thought the pearls added another elegant element to the card. Check out my Flower Spray Tutorial if you would like to see some step by step photos of how I make my pray projects. It uses different flowers and foliage but it is the same general idea.
