Impression Obsession Summer Die Release Blog Hop

Good Monday morning and welcome to the Impression Obsession Summer Die Release Blog Hop.  We have some beautiful new dies to share and a Gift Certificate to give away!  Visit the Impression Obsession Blog to get all the details.

I have another sweet Patchwork baby card to share with you today using the Patchwork Elephant along with several other projects that I have already posted using dies from the new release. I thought they would be fun to show again.  You can click on the links above each photo to see more details.

I attached the grass border to the smaller frame using ATG adhesive, applied thin strips of mounting tape to the back of the frame and attached it to the card base. I cut the elephant out in a couple different blue patterned papers and assembled the pieces and attached together with glossy accents and mounting tape.  I applied mounting tape to the back of the elephant and tucked him in behind the grass and attached to the card base. I formed several tiny flowers, attached them to the stems with glossy accents and secured them around the elephant.  I used a little whimsical shaped flower for the sun and attached several dragonflies around the scene for the finishing touch.

  1. So cute….glad to see these. Wonder if the head of the elephant is large enough for one of those wobblers? I have several friends and family who are Bama/Roll Tide fans and the elephant would be fun to do in the Univ. of Alabama colors and make the head wobble…..now you have my mind spinning. LOL
    Thanks for all the inspiration.

I have those small spring wobbles and it looks like it would work for the head Jan…but Kittie has the real guy.

  6. If the head is not large enough for the pre-made wobbler – you can make your own out of wire! Just look up online how to do it. It doesn’t have the large footprint of the pre-made ones. And is very affordable too! 🙂 Ann
