My project today was made using the new Falling Leaves paired with the Rectangle 6-in-1 Frames

The leave images in this set are so pretty and natural looking.  I thought they would look pretty with gold embossed lines instead of using black.  I dusted vanilla cardstock with  embossing magic powder to prepare for embossing.  I placed the stamps in my MISTI, applied versa, stamped and embossed using gold embossing powder.  I used my snips to fussy cut the leaves and applied Peeled Paint, Spiced Marmalade and Fired Brick Distress Ink using mini applicators.  I applied versa to each leaf and embossed with clear embossing powder. The sentiment was stamped using versa and embossed with gold embossing powder.

The sentiment was attached to the card base using ATG adhesive.  I applied thin strips of mounting tape to the back of the frame and attached it over the sentiment.  I gently formed the leaves with my fingers to add dimension and attached them to the frame using glossy accents.

Your next step on the hop will be Laura’s blog.

  3. Very realistic looking leaves. I don’t often use plaid papers, but will start incorporating plaid – adds a festive touch!
