Get the how-tos to create this spectacular handmade elegant white on white Christmas card – it’s easier than it looks!
I am just so happy with how this handmade elegant white on white Christmas card turned out! I love to layer texture and dimension into my cards and by adding speckles to the poinsettia petals, adding dry embossing to the background and then choosing greenery that echoed that embossing, this card has such a luxurious look and it was all so easy!
I used Rubbernecker’s Buildable Poinsettia dies for the flower, their Bells and Bow die to make that beautiful blingy accent, their Holly #1 and Greenery #3 dies for the super simple foliage and their Splatter Background to add the texture to the flower.
Let me share with you the steps to put this stunner together
Card Base
- Cut an A2 sized card base and a 5.25″ x 4.00″ layer using white cardstock.
- Emboss the white layer and attach it to the card base using double stick tape.
The Die Cut Poinsettia
- Rub embossing magic bag over a piece of white vellum to remove static.
- Apply white pigment ink to the Splatter Background and stamp it on the white vellum.
- Sprinkle white embossing powder on the vellum and then heat with the heat gun.
- Cut the poinsettia using the vellum cardstock and cut the largest flower section a second time.
- Form the petals gently using the large round stylus and molding pad.
- Attach all the layers together using glossy accents.
- Use silver glitter paper to cut the tiny flower centers and attach with glossy accents..
- Apply glossy accents to the back of the poinsettia and attach it to the card base.

The Easy To Make Die Cut Holly and Greenery
- Cut two sections of the Holly and Greenery #3 using green cardstock.
- Form the holly leaves using the leaf tool and molding pad.
- Apply several of the glitter flower centers to the holly and attach using glossy accents.
- Tuck the holly and greenery under the poinsettia petals and attach to the card base using glossy accents.

The Sparkly Bell
- Cut the bell from the Bells and Bow die set using gold metallic and silver glitter cardstock.
- Assemble the pieces, apply connect glue to the gold sections and attach to the bell. Pro Tip: Adhesive doesn’t stick well to the glitter cardstock so it is important to take a little extra time holding the pieces in place to adhere.
- Apply a piece of mounting tape to the back of the bell, tuck the top under the holly and attach it to the card base.

I just made some vellum poinsettia’s too, I like your embossing on them and the bell is a pretty addition to it also!
Beautiful card Kittie but I don’t see the name of the embossing folder.
Thank you,
