Cards with pumpkins and flowers are so fun to make and are perfect to send to family and friends this fall.
I love to make cards with pumpkins and flowers. I recently shared another post using lots of the same dies and color combination but I couldn’t resist making another to show how to create a foliage base that can be used for any season by changing up the dies and color combinations.
To make this card I used the Brass and Bliss Rectangle Combo OPC #4, Half Tree, Spring Greenery #4, Pumpkins and Ivy, Fall Mushroom Bouquet, Spring Flowers and Small Flowers #3.
Create a frame, apply strips of mounting tape and attach it to the card base.
Cut several sections of foliage and small rectangle piece about 2.00″ x .50″. Begin by attaching foliage sections evenly on both sides of the base.
Continue attaching the foliage sections until you have gone all the way around the base. Attach the foliage base to the center of the card base.
Attach the pumpkins to the center of the arrangement with pieces of mounting tape. Arrange and attach the flowers around the pumpkins.
Finish by tucking branches under the foliage base. Pro Tip: It certainly isn’t necessary to add the branches but I like how they add another nature element.
Here are links to all the products used to make these cards.

The theme doesn’t have to be cards with pumpkins and flowers. Can you see how easy it would be to use the foliage base to create any kind of floral project by just using different dies and color combinations for any occasion?
Hi Kittie, I love your cards, the ones at this moment in time are the main pumpkins and flowers, what is the size of the card please? and in another section of tutorials you show how to make tiny flowers, the tiny roses are displayed on the front of a house (sorry to be a pain ) but do you have a tutorial for the card with the house and roses please? Cheers and Thankyou, Marilyn in Nottingham England. Hope you have a Happy and Healthy Christmas and New Year xx
