Die Cut Framed Potted Plant and Flowers

My project today is a die cut framed potted plant and flowers made using dies by Rubbernecker Stamps.  I had all the supplies on my desk from the Window Card with Flower Pots project that I posted a couple of days ago and thought I would make another using the same colors and images.  The two cards would be pretty framed and hung together as a wall decoration.  I used the 5122D Rectangle Stitch OPC, 5128D Tree Panel #2, 5118D Leaf Group, 5147-05D Flower Stems, 5147-08D Small Butterflies, 5147-09D Flower Buds, 5147-10D Tiny Flower Buds, 5147-16D Tall Terracotta Pots and 5152-03D Grass Set.

Come see this bright and pretty die cut framed potted plant and flowers that is perfect for any occasion.

The Frame

I cut the frame, attached the two largest sections together using double stick tape and then attached the grass section to the back of the frame.  I applied thin strips of mounting tape to the back of the frame and attached it to the card base.

The Terracotta Pot

I cut the largest pot in the set using yellow cardstock and then applied Wild Honey, Rusty Hinge and Vintage Photo Distress Ink using mini applicators.  Using the yellow cardstock and inks allows me to create the highlighted appearance of old worn terracotta pots that have been well used.

Come see this cheerful die cut framed potted plant and flowers that is perfect for any occasion

Die Cut Framed Potted Plant

I cut out two tree panels, cut them apart to create several individual branches.  There are leaves that are attached to the frame border but I just trim around them with my snips to free them and keep the edges of the branches in tact.  I began the arrangement by attaching the shorter branches to the back of the pot first using glossy accents and then attaching the taller branches behind them.

The Flowers and Butterflies

I used my stylus and molding pad to form the flowers and attached them to the branches using glossy accents.  I secured a few flower stems to overflow from the front of the pot and then attached several tiny flowers around the arrangement.  I applied white pre made Nuvo Crystal Drops to the center of the larger flowers and the butterflies and attached in place with glossy accents.  I attached the butterflies in place around the scene to finish.

Come see this pretty die cut framed potted plant and flowers that is perfect for any occasion.

Have you been inspired to create your own die cut framed potted plant and flowers?  I hope so.  Thanks for coming by today and I hope you have a great week.

RN Sale

This card was made using the Rubbernecker 5148-02D Window Pierce Die5148-02D Window Pierce Die, 5141D Nested Rectangle Scallop w/ Holes, 5128D Tree Panel, 5118D Leaf Group, 5147-16D Tall Terracotta Pots, 5147-09D Flower Buds Die, 5147-10D Tiny Flower Buds, 5147-05D Flower Stems, 5147-08D Small Butterflies and 5152-03D Grass Set.

Come see how I made this window card with flower pots that would be perfect for any occasion.

The Window Frame, Grass and Branches

I applied double tick tape to the back of the window frame and attached the small branch from the tree panel and grass sections.  I cut thin strips of mounting tape and attached to the back of the window frame and attached it to the scalloped layer. The scalloped layer and window frame was attached to the white card base using pieces of mounting tape.

Coloring the Pots

The flower pots were cut out using yellow cardstock.  When applying the color to the pots the yellow shows through to help create the appearance of terracotta.  I used mini applicators to apply the inks and started by applying a fine layer of Wild Honey ink over the whole pot and then applied Rusty Hinge and Vintage Photo to add depth of color to create the old aged looking pots.

Come see how I made this window card with flower pots that would be perfect for a garden lover.

The Flowers and Foliage

I cut a Leaf Group section and cut the pieces apart to create the foliage base for the largest pot and attached the pieces to the back of the pot using glossy accents.  I cut several pieces of the flower stems to create the foliage base for the smaller pots and attached them to the back of the pots using glossy accents.

Forming the Flowers

I cut both sizes of flowers and used my stylus and molding pad to form them.  I used the larger flowers for the large pot of foliage and attached them with glossy accents.  I used the tiny flowers for the smaller pots and tree branches and attached them with glossy accents.

Come see how I made this window card with flower pots that would be perfect for a flower lover.

Completing the Window Card with Flower Pots

The pots were gently rounded using my fingers and were attached to the card base using pieces of mounting tape.  Tiny butterflies were attached using glossy accents to complete the scene.

Do you love making flower themed cards?  I sure do!!  I hope you have been inspired by my window card with flower pots to get your toys out and create a pretty card of your own.

Die Cut Scalloped Circle Frame with Flowers

My project today is a pretty die cut circle frame with flowers made using Rubbernecker Stamps 5150D Nested Large Scallop Stitch, 5013D Nested Rectangle Small Stitch, 5022 Nested Circle w/ Pierce, 5112D Mixable Flower Stack, 5118D Leaf Group Die and 5147-10D Tiny Flower Buds.  I wanted to use this pretty scalloped die on a larger card so I used a  6″ x 6″ card base.  I really like how the rectangle pieces have stitching that matches the stitching on the scalloped frame. I think the clean and simple card layout with the rectangle layers and scalloped frame around the pretty floral arrangement.

Come see how to make this die cut scalloped circle frame with flowers perfect for a flower lover.

The Frame and Rectangle Layers

I cut the largest stitched scalloped circle and then used a smaller straight circle die to cut out the framed opening.   I cut a rectangle stitched layer, cut it in half and attached it to the top and bottom of the card base using ATG adhesive.  I applied mounting tape to the back of the frame and attached it to the card base.

Come see how to make this die cut scalloped circle frame with flowers perfect for any occasion.

The Flowers and Foliage

I cut one whole set of flowers out and formed the petals of each flower using my needle nose pliers.  I tightly attached the tip of the pliers on the edges of the petals and curled them, alternating the directions on each petal to add interest to the flower.  I attached the flower layers together using glossy accents and then finished by adding a pre made white Nuvo Crystal Drop to the center and attached with glossy accents.

I cut two or three sections of the leaf group die out, cut the sections apart and began arranging and attaching the leaves under and around the flower using glossy accents.  When I was satisfied with how full the foliage was I cut a few sections of the tiny flowers, formed them with my stylus and molding pad and attached them all around the foliage using glossy accents.

Come see how to make this die cut scalloped circle frame with flowers.

I sure do appreciate you coming by today and I hope you have enjoyed seeing my die cut scalloped circle frame with flowers project.  I sure had lots of fun making it and I think it would be a perfect card to have on hand for any occasion.

Come see how I made this inspirational die cut framed sentiment and flower arrangement project.

The Sentiment

I started by securing the sentiment stamps in my MISTI and stamping using Dusty Concord Distress Ink.  I wanted to make sure all sentiments were even within the framed openings so I stamped them on three individual pieces of white cardstock.

The Frame

I places strips of mounting tape to the back of the frame, lined up the three individual sentiment layers and attached them to the back of the frame. I applied double stick tape to the back of the frame and attached it to the white scalloped frame layer.

Come see how I made this inspirational die cut framed sentiment and flower card.

The Flower

I cut the flower sections and formed each layer using my stylus and molding pad. I attached the layers together using glossy accents. I cut a couple sections of the leaf group to use to create the base for my flower.  I attached the flower to the card base using glossy accents and then tucked the foliage in and around the flower using glossy accents. I finished by attaching one white Nuvo Crystal Drop to the center of the flower with glossy accents.

Come see how I made this inspirational die cut framed sentiment and flower project.

I sure appreciate you coming by today and I hope you have a great weekend.  I hope you can find time to get in your craft room and pull out some of your inspirational sentiments and  flower and frame dies to create your own die cut framed sentiment and flower card.

Die Cut Flower Pots and Butterflies

I have a pretty spring colored die cut flower pots and butterflies card to share with you today using garden and frame dies by Rubbernecker Stamps.  For this project I used the 5132 Rectangle Combo #2 OPC Die, 5147-18D Tulip Tops Die, 5147-16D Tall Terracotta Pot Die, 5147-05D Flower Stems Die, 5147-09D Flower Buds Die, 5147-08D Small Butterflies Die, 5152-03D Grass Set and 5118D Leaf Group Die.

Come see how to make this spring die cut flower pots and butterflies project.

The Pots

I cut the pots using Alpaca cardstock and colored and shaded them using mini applicators and Wild Honey, Rusty Hinge and Vintage Photo ink.  I started by applying a light coat of Wild Honey and then added darker tones around the edges and and top of the pots using Rusty Hinge and Vintage Photo.  I made sure I left the centers of the pots a lighter color to create more realistic pots.

The Flowers

I several sets of flower stems using Easter Grass cardstock and the flowers using Cotton Candy, Sour Lemon and Sour Grape cardstock.  I formed the Sour Grape flower using my small tipped stylus and molding pads and attached them to the flower stems using glossy accents.  I gently rounded the tulip heads using the larger stylus and molding pad and attached them to the flower stems using glossy accents.

Arranging the Flower Pots

I created the two smaller pots of flower by attaching the stems to the back of the pots using glossy accents.  I started by attaching the front flower stems first and worked my way back adding taller stems.  Next I cut a couple sections of the Leaf Group die, cut them apart and created a larger foliage arrangement in the tallest pot. I began with the shortest foliage branches and worked by way back adding taller branches until I was satisfied with the size to stand behind the two front pots.  I attached purple flowers to the branches using glossy accents until it was full of blooms.

Come see how I made this spring die cut flower pots and butterflies project.

The Frame and Grass

I cut the frames die and attached the two largest sections together using double stick tape. I cut one grass section and attached it to the back of the frame using double stick tape.  I cut thin strips of mounting tape, attached them to the back of the frame and attached it to the pink card base.

The Die Cut Flower Pots and Butterflies

I tucked the tallest post in behind the brass and attached it to the card base using mounting tape.  Next I applied mounting tape to the back of the two smaller pots and tucked them in behind the grass and attached them to the card base and taller flower pot.  I added several small butterflies to the scene for the finishing touch.

Come see how to make this spring die cut flower pots and butterflies project perfect for so many occasions.

I appreciate you coming by today and I hope my spring flower scene using die cut flower pots and butterflies has inspired you to get out your favorite dies to make a scene of your own.

Die Cut Fence and Bucket Scene

My project today is a die cut fence and bucket scene card made using the new Rubbernecker Stamps Garden and Frame dies.  The old-fashioned Wide Bucket that I used comes in two different sizes and I used the larger one for this scene.

Come see how I made this die cut fence and bucket scene card that would be perfect for a gardener.

The Bucket of Flowers

I cut the bucket and handle using Alpaca cardstock and colored using mini applicators to apply Wild Honey, Rusty Hinge and Vintage Photo inks. The gray cardstock allowed me to have some of the tin bucket show through all the rust.  The bucket handle was attached using glossy accents.  I cut several branches of the Leaf Group apart and began attaching them to the back of the bucket using glossy accents.I started by adding the shortest branches first and worked my way back adding larger and larger branches until the arrangement was complete.  I cut Flower Buds in four colors, formed them with my stylus and molding pad and attached them to the branches using glossy accents.

Come see how I made this die cut fence and bucket scene card perfect for anyone who loves gardening.

Die Cut Fence and Bucket Scene

I attached the grass sections and attached to the back of the frame using double stick tape. I cut the fence twice and layered one on top of the other to create a taller fence.  I cut white strips of cardstock to attach across the fence in two places to cover where the two fences were joined and attached them in place with double stick page. I attached the fence to the back of the frame with double stick tape. Next I attached thin strips of mounting tape all the way around the back of the frame and then attached one branch section from the tree panel to the top of the frame.  I added a piece of double stick tape over the tree branch section and then attached the whole frame to the card base. The bucket of flowers was attached to the scene using mounting tape.  I added several flowers to the branch and added one tiny butterfly to the scene for the finishing touch.

Come see how I made this die cut fence and bucket scene card perfect for anyone who loves flowers.

I love this old fashioned bucket full of flowers along the fence line with the pretty flower branch across the top.  I hope I have inspired you to get out your stash of toys to create your own die cut fence and bucket scene.
