Music Inspired Clean and Simple

Good Tuesday morning.  My project today was made for the Splitcoaststampers Clean and Simple challenge and the quote above was our inspiration. I have had the Impression Obsession Music cover- a- card stamp for a while and thought this was the perfect opportunity to use it for the first time. Since the challenge was clean and simple the music image created a perfect soft single layer background for the newly released Floral Lace Heart and embellished with the tiny flower and leaves from the Floral Layered Set.

I cut the heart and layered over the gold ribbon and attached with a small piece of mounting tape that would be hidden by the tiny flower and leaves.  I used a couple rolled glue dots to attach the heart in a couple other places but still wanted it to appear free from the background.

I cut and formed the flowers and leaves and attached over the mounting tape with glossy accents.  The white flower and leaves didn’t really show up well against the white heart so I used a dry brush to lightly apply antique linen to the flower. I added a tiny pearl flower center to finish.
