Window Pots of Roses

Good Saturday morning.  Wow!  What a tiring work week.  When I get home to tired to do paper crafting in the evening then I get a little grumpy.  LOL!  I was happy to get home early enough yesterday to make this window scene.

I began by stamping the image and water coloring using reinkers and a waterbrush.I cut it out so I could use it as an arrangement on the window sill.  I cut two windows and attached them to the front and inside of the opening with ATG adhesive.

I cut several pieces of leafy branch 2 and all the tiny spiral roses using two different sizes from the spiral flowers set. I attached the foliage to the backside of the pots and  attached the roses using glossy accents. Here is a little closer view of the roses.  I think they are so precious.

I attached the flower pots to the base of the window (I got it a little crooked) with mounting tape.

Here is a shot of what the inside of the window looks like.  I like finishing it as nicely on the inside as the outside.  You can check out my see thru window tutorial if you would like to see step by step photos of how I create my window opening.

  1. Hi Kittie: Promise me that whenever you come home from work tired, rest. Heck! The post can wait. We need our Kittie to continue to bring the joy to us! Don’t happen every night…oh well! We KNOW you will continue to draw out the ooo’s and ahh’s from your fans! It’s funny how this window card made me feel! You are tired and can still share this awesome card. I am exhausted from spending more than 16 hrs in the emergency room with my sister, can’t remember my name, feet about to fall off and what pops up in my email…KITTIE and this beautiful card! Gave me such a lift! Thank you Kittie!

  3. What a joy to receive this beautiful card this morning. Not often we can say that at 4 am. Sometimes do our best work when
we are tired. Do take care of #1 as you do give us all great joy. Satisfies the artist and the paper crafter. Can’t thank you enough for the pleasure you send. The great thing is I have collected all the dies and can use them on a beautiful creation.
    Thank you!!!
