Good Friday morning. I am excited to be the guest designer at The CLASSroom today. Here is a sneak peek of my project made using Susan Tierney-Cockburn’s Mini Daisy and Wheelbarrow and Watering Can. I have also shared step by step photos showing how I created my flower.
I have been having so much fun making flowers with all of Susan’s wonderful sets. I thought it would be fun to offer you a chance to win Susan’s gorgeous Rose Set. With all the new product releases at CHA all you have to do to qualify for my blog candy is leave me a comment telling me a few of the items you have on your wish list. You will have until Tuesday, August 13th at 5:00 p.m. to post your comment.
Here are a couple rose projects that I made with this set and posted several weeks ago. The set makes such a beautiful and realistic rose and rosebud. You can click on the photos to go to check out the original posts.
I hope you have a wonderful and restful weekend. Be sure and take some time to get creative.

Gorgeous card! Love the roses! So detailed and realistic.
I want to get some of the new Tim Holtz Distress Glitters and stencils, and some new dies.
I always look forward to all of the new paper releases from CHA so can’t wait to see all of them. I love seeing what you do with your handmade flowers, makes me think I can too!
Your cards are always so gorgeous. I have a separate folder on my desktop just for your creations. My wish list contains lots of dies. I bought a whole bunch at a show in Syracuse a month ago and use them all the time. I totaled my car on the way to find your dies at the show by hitting a deer. After the tow truck driver dropped us off, we got in my friend’s car and started the journey over again. I’d love this petal die set and the tree dies. I want them all.
Oh my Goodness your rose looks so REAL! Really! I’ve never tried doing flowers they look so hard to do…
I’d like to get a few Christmas dies I have my eye on a few by Memory Box I love there dies and one by Taylored Expression called Nativity Border… I’m sure there’s more STUFF I’d love to have too…..
I’m in love with dies! These flower dies make creating so much easier. All things Christmas and Halloween top my wish list, especially dies. Of course new papers are like shoes, you can’t have too many!
Just beautiful! All of Susan’s flower dies are amazing and you definitely have the magic touch of using them to create such realistic flowers. Her sunflower die cut has been at the top of my wish list for quite a while now, but I also like the pansy and that sweet little daisy you made in your card. Thanks for the opportunity to win.
Wow what lovely cards! Your flowers always look so real I sometimes think they’re a photo of what inspired you! One of the things on my wish list is Susan’s accessory tool kit- I would love to be able to make some of the beautiful flowers you have on your blog….
Your card is gorgeous. I have the rose set but I haven’t used it yet. (I know it won’t look like yours) I would love to have the Pan Pastels, the mini flower dies, Lily die set and pansy set.
Hi, I have one of Susan’s dies and have ordered 3 more but love each of them. I have many things in my craft room as I know a lot of others do too, but always want the newest things. Would really love a 12 inch cut and emboss machine. Thanks for the chance to win this rose die, one that I don’t have. Edna B.
Susans’ new flower die lines are stunning….so life-like! My favorites list still remains the rose and sunflower 🙂

Love all your work Kittie, thanks for sharing with all of us. I’ve collected all the mini flowers by Susan, but would really love to get this rose. You just can’t have too many “things”.
So gorgeous as are all of your flowers…we could pluck them right off the card and put them in a vase.
I would love the tool set and of course any of the beautiful flowers. You continue to amaze us kittie.
I am eyeing DCWV Freshly Picked, Webster Pages Postcard From Paris and MME Cut& Paste collection.
All of Susan’s flower dies are absoultely beautiful & Kittie you make them come to life. Your cards are amazing. I love, love, love dies. My wishlist would be any of Susan’s dies & also the pan pastels. Thank you for a chance to win the rose die. I will keep my fingers crossed.
You make the most beautiful flowers and cards! Thanks for the chance to win and the rose is number one on my wishlist, then the daffodil, daisy and so on and so on!
I have been totally drooling over all of your GORGEOUS flowers! Making flowers is a passion of mine and I do it with Rose Creations and Tim’s Tattered florals.
I have never seen Susan’s dies IRL -but my only store is a VERY small (as in smallest in NA) Mike’s and let’s just say they don’t have much of anything overly exciting, if I find a nice paper stack and some Tim stuff I’m doing good!
Ah CHA stuff well lets see, there is lots of Tim stuff and I am really wanting to start with a PL or 365 or SNAP style of album.
(luckily Mikes has started carrying this stuff so WHEW!)(I tend to focus more on what I have a possible shot at finding in the store, aside from that I have a LONG list LOL)
I’d be interested to hear YOUR wish list
Hi Kittie, well it takes a while for new products from CHA to be available to purchase in the UK but there are some things that are at the top of my wish list.
Any of Susan’s dies, but especially the rose. I’ve so enjoyed seeing your beautiful cards and the flowers are wonderful! Pan Pastels are the second item at the top of my wish list – I have two colours which I won and I want more. Thank you for the chance to win such a fabulous die hugs Karen
I have said it before but you are the queen of paper flowers Kittie! You always dazzle me with the realistic interpretations of all the flowers you make! What a talent. My wish list is so so long….. but I want to get a Big Shot first and foremost. I have a CB but many of the dies I would like don’t fit through it. Thanks for always sharing.
Your Roses are exquisite!! It seems as the days goes by my wish list gets bigger and bigger but I do know one thing on the top of my list is Pan Pastels and some of Suasn’s dies. They are just so gorgeous!! Thank you so very much for the chance to win a beautiful die!!
Beautiful Daisy and Rose, but then all your flowers and all your cards are fabulous. I tried recreating your flowering tree from the other day, sadly its not as pretty as yours and I never have the right paper or colors or die to use. I think my friend will
like her birthday card anyway, she hasnt seen yours LOL. I love the Rose Die and my wish list is so long, PanPastels, IO dies and stamps, Memory Box Dies, Cheery Lynn Dies etc. etc. Thanks
for sharing the how to’s with us, it sure makes it easier for us newbies to card making.
Your creations has not only inspired me but also cost me a lot of money! Conveniently I have only purchased the dogwood and daisy dies, not the rose, so YAY I’d love to win your blog candy!!! Maybe one day I’ll get almost as good as you at creating flowers…..practice, practice, practice!
I check my email each morning to get inspiration from you, Your ideas are wonderful. I wish I could get all the dies and stamps you work with. My favorite are the nature ones flower, birds, and tree. My next one on my wish list is the rose set it may not turn out as nice as yours but I can try.Keep up the wonderful job thanks. Jen
I also check my email each day, excited to see what beautiful creation you have invented today. I have you to thank for all of my dies as you inspire me so much. I always put a note in my order that my order is Kittie Inspired! Rannah
Wow, as usual, you have made my jaw drop with the stunning rose. You’re so very talented! I look forward to each new post you make! My wish list would include the IO tree die and fence die. Also anything Spellbinders. Thank you for the chance to win!
I love your flowers. I would love to win this. I also love the candleabra because they are so elegant but add a cobweb it is great for Halloween. The Christmas Village is great.
Your flowers are so beautiful! I really want all Susan’s dies, but only have the tulip so far. I plan to get the poppy next. Thanks for the chance to win the rose!
Comment from Jean
Good morning Kittie:
Not being very computer-literate I don’t know how to post a comment on your
blog so please accept this email instead. Thank you for the opportunity to
win the rose set by Susan Tierney. Her sets are lovely but you turn them
into beautiful creations. My favorites, are the rose set, the dogwood and
the mini daisy.
Thank you for sharing all your cards, the list of materials that you use
accompanied by photos of the actual products, and the tutorials that are
easy to follow and so informative.
Your flowers look so real and gorgeous!! I just bought a couple of her dies and will attempt to make them. Don’t have that rose one either. Love so many of the new products that just came out of CHA. Want the new Distress Markers in the 12 new colors. I’ll take any dies, especially all the holiday ones which are absolutely awesome: Spellbinders, Impression Obsession, Elizabeth Craft and Memory Box. Whenever you do a new card, I get so inspired that I MUST have that die. I feel like I need to get extra insurance because I have so many dies and would be extremely upset is something happened to them. Thanks for the chance to win the goodies. I look forward to your future cards and inspiration.
Kittie…First of all, thank you for your generosity in sharing what you do so beautifully….that rose is incredible and I would have thought it was real! My favorites of Susan’s flowers are the mini-flowers, the tools, and the paints…I haven’t seen the CHA releases…must check that out!
Tomorrow I write on my own to you, my daughter is on vacation. She is my help with English, but my English gets more and more better. Every morning I read first your blog (my morning ritual), bevore I read the morning paper.
I really love your cards and your creativity. Thank you for sharing at all with us.
I love the rose, poppy and black eye, also the dies. On my wish list is also the dies for a birdhouse. You make very beautiful birdhouse cards Kittie. (i love birdhouses). Unfortunatuly is the die, here in the Netherlands, not available.
Kittie, I get such inspiration looking your cards, I am really happy with your blog. Thank you!
Greetings from Eva van Buuren, from the Netherlands.
Wow, I love the mini daisy, the rose set, the black eyed susans…I would probably love them all!!! But I especially love the ones above!!
Thanks for the give-a-way!! Hope I win!
My wish list is way too long! LOL! Every one of the Susan’s Garden die sets are on my list with the Dogwood set, Mini Petals and Mini Daisy at the very top. I also have Memory Box dies on my wish list and dies from several other online companies. So many wonderful dies out there… wish I could afford to buy some regularly.
Your roses are so gorgeous! It’s almost hard to believe that dies could make it possible to make them so realistic.
Good afternoon, Kittie. WOW! it is difficult to pick flowers from the garden, and yours as well. All are so lovely and expressive, You just want to pick one each day. I would love the rose. Roses are sooo special, for many emotions and love. Red for love, Yellow for Texas, and Pink so sweetness. Just roses can speak where words can’t. thanks for sharing your talent and for the opportunity of candy. …..have a good day.
I always love your flowers a touch of elegance.
Gorgeous card Kittie! If it wasn’t for your posting, I would never have discovered Susan’s flowers. I love them.
This is the one set I’m dying to get. I keep trying to buy the Rose, Viola/Pansy and Mini flowers and they are always out of stock. I would LOVE to win this set. Thanks for the chance!
You do such a wonderful job of colouring and sculpting with Susan’s dies, Kittie. I have purchased the small rose dies, but haven’t found time to play yet. I have several of Susan’s dies on my wish list – can’t wait to get the large rose, the peony, and the sunflower.
My favs are the roses and the daisy. Your projects are so inspiring! Thanks so much for sharing your creations with us.
I bought the sunflower after seeing it, and now have to get the Rose. Mine never come out looking as good as yours, tho. You are such a master of flower creation!! My wish list seems to be just about everything you demo! It looks so good, I just have to have it! You keep me broke but inspired! Keep up the great work!
OMGoodness!!! Your roses (and all of your flowers) are just GORGEOUS!!! I definitely have this Rose die set, the Garden Leaves die set, the Accessory Tool Kit (to make the flowers), and Ultimate Glue on my “official” wish list. I KNOW I could add so many more items though! LOL
I have to tell you that these roses & all of your flowers are gorgeous! As for my new CHA wish list – any of Susan’s dies, Tim’s new stencils & distress markers, Wendy’s archival inks, Memory Box dies & stamps, anything Spellbinders, I could go on & on. Thanks for all of your fabulous inspiration!
Love that mini daisy die also! So pretty! I was in a hurry this morning to post my note, on my way to work at 5 am, so I’m finishing my comment now that I’m back home!
I am also wanting to get some Distress markers in the new colors.

Boy that rose looks real. My wish list is so long, but right now I have to have those envelope punch boards. All of them!!
Kittie, I look forward each day to looking on your site to see what beautiful new card you have come up with. I recently started purchasing some of Susan Tierney’s dies after seeing them on your site. The dies are wonderful and love this rose one too! Keep up the good work!
On my wish list are the pan pastels so I can attempt to make some of Susan’s flowers. I love the rose you made, Kittie. It’s so realistic.
Your rose is awesome! I would love to have the rose die or the daisy die. I do have Susan’s book on making flowers with punches…. never did get all the punches needed. Still working on that. A die would be so much easier!! I enjoy seeing all of your cards. They never fail to amaze me.
I just discovered these dies and I the rose and sunflower are top on my list. Your flowers are gorgeous!

I open my browser with anticipation each day to see if you have a new project to share with us. You are so creative and talented and I love your cards. You inspire us to be more crafty. I don’t know what all the new items are from CHA (C-n-C) yet, but I know that I always look forward to the new Karen Burniston Pop ‘n Cuts and Stephanie Barnard Flip-Its. It’s fun to make moving cards like that.

Kittie, I’m thinking that anything that you touch
Turns to gold. All your designs, cards etc are
Gorgeous and so detailed. I love flowers and

I look forward to seeing your blog every time you post. Your flowers are outstanding. Would love to win the rose or the dogwood or the daisy or any of the others. I have the tiny lily and that is the extent of my collection. Just ordered pan pastels to color with, now I just need the dies!
OMG my wish list is soooo long, Hmmm where to start? I really need some more dies. Only have basics like oval, circles, etc… would love to own a few flower dies like these. Thank you for the chance to win.
i absolutely love this new set of flower dies. you make them come to life!! my list is really, really, really long, but a few are the memory box flourishes and corners, which i don’t have a lot of. i also like cheery lynn’s designs as well. these are the two i go to for most of my dies and things.
thanks for doing ‘test runs’ so we can see how they will look. i look forward to your next creation!
holy schmoleys, this is stunning! you have such talent and patience when it comes to working with those little pieces. I am truly in awe!
I have lots and lots of things on my wish list – at the tippy top is anything released by Basic Grey. they are my ab fab fave company and I seem to collect/hoard anything they make. I also really like the new Tim Holtz dies & distress markers. great new dies by Memory Box, too. sigh….. my wish list is just really long. grins!
thank you for all of your beautiful inspiration!
My wish list always grows with every show. I want the new distress markers, several Spellbinders dies, several Crafter’s Workshop stencils and perhaps the Distress Glitter.
I love all the flowers, especially the tiny ones, and Susan’s new October ones are all on my wish list. But my wish list has hundreds of items. I want the distress markers and maybe the pan pastels for coloring the flowers
I love all of your work, it is simply amazing and lovely. The roses by Susan are so beautiful and I don’t have them. I enjoy using the pan pastels and love using her tools. The flowers she designs are gorgeous. I would so like to win the roses, but I truly enjoy and am thankful for all you share with us.
You are so creative and an expert at using small pieces. I now use glossy accents to attach things. My wish list would have to be the watering can, flower mount, the mini daisy from today and the staircase.
Kittie, as always thank you for all the great ideas! For my wish list I would love to have window dies and flower making dies. I cannot find any of these dies for my Cuddlebug. I adore Susan Tierney-Cockburns flowers. I have several of her flower making books and have made flowers and learned alot! To add to my wishlist I would love to have several of her dies. I read somewhere that to make more realistic roses you dampen the petals with a little water, shape then let them dry. It works! I have a vase of them on my TV. I put the petals & some leaves together, bind with wire then wrap with green floral tape. Beautiful roses all year long! Kittie, A big thank you to you for sharing your inspirations. I adore your flowers and trees and windows, gates and….. Your cards are a delightful eyeful.
Your work, as usual, is gorgeous! I would love to have the new flower designs that have just come out! Maybe…..who knows. Also, I would love to see the new Metallic Pan Pastels that will be on the market soon. They were shown at the CHA show. Now, those I would really like!
You have always been a source of inspiration for me. From the time I saw your window cards to all the Susan Tierney
Cockburn flower dies and flower tool set, I have wanted them all. Got the window die, trying to justify my need for the other items. Should be able to do this eventually. Thanks for sharing your talent. God surely blessed you.
Kittie, you continue to amaze me! As always, your work is stunning! I’ve said this a dozen times but I would LOVE to spend an afternoon with you in your studio! It must be an amazing place.
Let’s see….want list from CHA…the new Distress markers, all colors of the new distress glitter, about 1000 stamps and dies and all of the new Graphic 45 lines, the new wr memory keeper boards, the rub on foil and adhesive from Tombow (?) and the metal sheets from the home building supply company. AND all the new spellbinders release, including media mixage! I could go on but I’m sure you were bored lines ago!!
Love your work and am grateful for your generosity in sharing your talent. So enjoy seeing an email from you in my inbox!! Thank you, too, for the chance to win these fabulous dies!! I have a couple but haven’t tried them yet!
So very pretty! On my wish list are the mini daisies, & black eyed Susan dies set, also while we are at it for a wish list it would be the Ebosser machine. A rose is a rose by any other name, but boy it is the most beatiful rose I have seen! Blessings, and thank you for sharing as always, Lisa
You make it look so easy. I know, practice, practice and yours would kinda look like yours. Thanks for sharing this tutorial. I like the poppies and daisy the best though.
Your mini daisy is just adorable Kittie. And your rose of course is defiantly real like. Susan Tireny Cockburn’s die cuts are ALL wonderful die cuts. Love em all. Want them all! LOL!
Oh my! What a question—There are so many things on my wishlist. Pan Pastels, Graphic45 papers, Susan Tierny flower dies, JustRite’s new stamps, Spellbinders ornate Circle die.I’ve just started making paper flowers and they are so fun to create and easier than they look!
As usual a stunning example of your talent. My wish list is long and exciting but I would love to have everything to make the staircase card, that is something my friend and I want to try.
I am so determined to make carnations that I’d pink the edges of the rose to see if that worked! I also like the black-eyed susan and the other flower dies by Sizzix, plus almost anything from Cheery Lynn and Memory Box. It does seem to be all about the dies this year!
Wow! I am amazed at your beautiful flowers and cards!!! I’ve been drooling over these flower dies and pan pastels for awhile now… they are definitely on my wish list 🙂 Thank you!!!
Hi, Kittie, hope you had fun in the CLASSroom! I have a few of the gorgeous dies but haven’t tackled them yet. The biggest thing on my wish list after my trip to Violette’s is pan pastels. They are so yummy! I’m not going to bore you by gushing over your cards for the umpteenth time – you know I think you make the most gorgeous cards!
I have always wanted to try my hands on a rose set. Yours are so beautiful!
Thank for the chance
That is SOOOOO pretty!! You amaze me!!
My wish list is looong but I want the wreath die set from IO. And the villages from MB.
I think Diane might be referring to this one: http://www.ellenhutson.com/servlet/the-20617/Memory-Box-Company-Memory/Detail
