Good Tuesday morning. My project today was made for the Splitcoaststampers Clean and Simple Challenge.
The challenge was to pick at least three of the five colors found in the tulip color palette below. I went with the darker green magenta and orange. Believe it or not the flower center is orange but doesn’t show well in the photos. I love the tulips in the inspiration piece and think I need to try and figure out how to make then with paper.
I loved the new Taylored Expressions Bloom Where You’re Planted die set. I thought it would perfect to have when I needed to make a fast and easy card for a thank you or birthday. It took me longer to tie the bow and attach to the tag than it did to put the card together.
I have said this so many times it must get boring but I love the way bright colors pop against a white background.
I thought the sentiment from the Rubbernecker Wildflower Set was perfect for this project. The set is filled with lovely flower sentiments.
Thanks for stopping by and I hope you have a great day.
Card size: 5.50” x 4.25”

Kittie, this is adorable! Love the flower and pot..
So cute potted flower! Like the polka dot print and the striped ribbon is perfect. 🙂
Such a cute card. Love the simple design and the colors are perfect together.
very cute flower and pot, love that sentiment!
I am a big fan of polka dots and this truly pops on white…Perky and bright
Good Morning,Kittie….Beautiful colors with white to bring you bright joy immediately when you see this gorgeous simple card. Perfect to cheer your day.
I hope you do find how to make tulips, they are a strong beauty. I think I like them because they seem to last longer for cut flowers than some other do.
Have a good day.
A lovely, happy card. The dimensional flower makes this card extra special. The colours and the polka dots are great!
You could try making the tulips with coffee filters, I like the cone filters best they are thicker. Colouring with water colours or and pan pastels. I hope you do try the tulips I would love to see the results.
Thank you for sharing your creative inspirational card today.
