Good Sunday morning. I haven’t played with my Impression Obsession Coffee Set in quite a while and decided to use it today for my project for the Splitcoaststampers Featured Stampers challenge. Our featured stamper this week is Amy Corr aka amymay998 and was inspired by her Empty Morning Mugs card found here. I used the spoon from the Tea Set, created the scalloped background layers using the Lawn Fawn Scalloped Rectangle Stackables and the napkins were made using the Spellbinders Classic Scalloped Rectangles and the Girl Time sentiment is from the It’s About Time. The designer paper is from the Penny Black Beau Jardin paper pad.
I applied versa with a versa marker to the borders of the coffee pot, mugs and spoon and embossed with gold embossing powder. I went a little too heavy on the gold embossing but I wanted it to show up well in the photos.
I cut the flowered paper and white layers using the scalloped dies. I attached the flower layer directly to the card base using ATG adhesive. The sentiment was stamped with versa and embossed with gold powder and the white layer was attached to the card base with strips of mounting tape. The coffee pot and mugs were attached with mounting tape. The tiny scalloped napkins were folded in half and attached with glue dots. I wanted one of the spoons to be standing in the mug and one laying out on the napkin. This definitely is a girly coffee setting with the tiny pink rose paper and scallops. I like how it turned out.
Here is another sneak peek at one of my my project for this Tuesday’s blog hop celebrating the new Essentials by Ellen release.
Thanks for coming by and I hope you have a great day.
