Good Sunday afternoon. My project today was made using the Impression Obsession Fish Set, Sea Plants, Little Fishes and the All-in-One Frames Squares. I used an all white frame and background so the colors of the fish and plants would really pop.
I cut the plants using vellum and colored them with Copic markers. I Googled photos of underwater sea plants to get color ideas. I used the vellum so the fish could be seen in behind the plants. I colored the blue and yellow fish with Distress Markers, I used yellow and orange cardstock for the other fish and applied orange ink to them with a mini applicator to add some depth of color. When I was finished I applied versa to all the fish and embossed with clear embossing powder.
I attached two sections of the fence together with double stick tape and then applied mounting tape and attached it to the card base. I started creating the scene by applying glossy accents to the all the sea plants and tucking them in behind the frame. I placed the fish in and around the plants and attached with mounting tape.
Here’s a closer view of the fish and plants. I like how this turned out.
Thanks for coming by and I hope you have a great July 4th holiday.
