Outdoor Camping Scene Card

Good Friday morning.  I have a fun summery outdoor camping scene card to share with you today made using dies by Impression Obsession.  For this project I used the camper from the Car and Camper Set, Evergreen Trees, Small Grass Border, Grass Border, Tiny 6 Petal Flowers, Small Bird Set and Rectangle 6-in-1 Frames.

The Frame and Grass

To get started I cut out the frame and small grass border.  I applied double stick tape to the lower portion of the frame and attached the grass border.  The frame was attached to the blue scene background layer with strips of mounting tape and then both were attached to the green layer card base with strips of mounting tape.

Assembling The Scene Parts and Pieces

I cut the camper, two sets of trees, one set of birds, the tiny flowers and a grass border.  I used the small tip of my stylus and a molding pad to form all the flowers.  I attached the door of the camper in place with double stick tape. I hand cut a crimped yellow piece of cardstock to use as drapes for the camper window. and attached it in place with double stick tape.  

Building the Outdoor Camping Scene Card

I began building the scene by attaching the taller trees to the card base with mounting tape.  I tucked the camper in behind the grass border and attached with mounting tape.  Next I used mounting tape to secure the smaller evergreen trees on the sides of the scene.  I cut the grass border apart and tucked pieces in behind the trees and attached with glossy accents.  I attached tiny flowers to all the grass tips using glossy accents.  I finished the scene by attaching the three birds in place using tiny piece of mounting tape.

This outdoor camping scene card made me happy.  I had so much fun deciding what colors to use to create a happy summer scene.  I wish I was there right now.  Thanks for coming by and I hope you have been inspired to create your own outdoor camping scene card.
