Make a wooden barrel card with a flower arrangement using Brass and Bliss die sets.
I love how easy this wooden barrel card was to make with the large flower arrangement. I used the white lattice background because I wanted it and texture and dimension to highlight the whole arrangement.
To make this project I used the Brass and Bliss Wooden Crate and Barrell, Foliage Trio, Large Ivy, Branches and Leaves, Small Flowers #3, Lattice with Scallop and Small Scallop with Holes Nested.
Lattice Card Base and Barrel
I applied strips of mounting tape to the back frame borders and attached it to the card base.
I cut the barrel using Kraft and black cardstock. The barrel was colored using brown ink and a wet baby wipe because I like how this technique creates an even coverage. I attached the strips to the barrel using Nuvo glue.
The Flower Arrangement
I used several different foliage branches because I wanted to create a variety for the arrangement. To create the foliage base I began attaching shorter foliage section to the back of the barrel using glossy accents and continued attaching the sections to create a full base for the arrangement.
I cut the flowers in two different sizes because I wanted to to create multilayered flowers and molded them with a small stylus and attached together using glossy accents. I attached the flowers all around the foliage to fill the arrangement. For the flower centers I cut an edge of a scalloped die, picked up the negative die cut circles and attached them to the flower centers using Nuvo glue. I applied a large piece of mounting tape to the back of the barrel and glossy accents to the foliage and attached it to the base.

Do you have more ideas for how to use Wooden Crate and Barrel set to make a wooden barrel card? I think it would be fun to fill it with apples, pumpkins and/or different sizes of flowers.
Super sweet card. I love your signature florals. Makes me smile!
