I’ve been having fun getting a few cards together to send in to the Whipper Snapper Design Spring Contest. I love Anna’s Winny and Billy Goat images and her new full set called Bo Peep’s Sheep. I thought they would be really cute put together for a fun farm scene.

I didn’t think Anna would mind if I mixed her images with my hand sketched barn, fence and trees. My  images along with the animals creates a fun setting for my scene. I sketched the images with a fine Copic Multiliner and colored with Faber-Castell Pitt colored markers.  I used these to color the fine images as their points are much finer than my Copic’s.  I sponged Adirondack Dye Ink Lettus for the ground area and filled in with Meadow and my fern stamp.  I added leaves to the tree with Meadow and Lettus using the fern stamp as well.  I used a sponge to apply Adirondack Latte for the road leading to the barn. The sky was sponged with Adirondack Cloudy Blue.

I stamped all the animals on white cardstock with Brilliance Black Graphite and heat set.  I colored them all with Copic markers and cut out to attach in the scene.  Both the horse and goat are so large that they couldn’t really fit well without looking a little too crowded so I cut the goat in half and knew it would still give the appearance that he was in the scene without over powering it.  I stamped the sheep two additional times so I could cut out the face and the wool puff and ears and to pop up for dimension.  I don’t think ti shows in the photo but it looks so sweet.  The three large animals were attached with rolled up glue dots to add dimension without making them as high as pop dots.  The chicks were adhered flat. The addition of the gingham makes this the perfect little farm card.
