The Ways To Use It Challenge on SCS today was to use some sort of tag on our project. It could be just a normal little tag to creating a complete tag book. I chose to play with Rubbernecker’s Beach Party to create a beach scene. Woo Hoo! I love new rubber. I stamped my images with Stazon and watercolored with Distress and Adirondack reinkers. I stamped the chair and kite a second time on scrap watercolor paper , painted and cut out to pop up on the scene. I sponged the sand, ocean and sky area with sponge daubers and I sketched little tiny sea oats with markers. I used little lines of Liquid Applique, dabbed off with my finger and heated to created the little white caps on the ocean. I took thin string and tied little gingham ribbons on the kite tail and took a second piece to bring down to tie on the chair. I created a little Enjoy tag with my oval punch and tied it on the chair as well. I attached the chair with blue dots and mounting tape for dimension. I had lots of fun on this project even though I got a really late start tonight.
