Flowers and Bright Colors

The Color Challenge on SCS today has some wonderful choices that we usually would not think to put together.  Coral, Apricot, Moss and Caramel. I wanted to use these colors on some of the new KK Original flowers that I have from Rubbernecker Stamp Company. Check out the newly released images as there are lots to choose from.

I stamped the flower image several times to create a garden and painted with reinkers and markers. I cut out the garden and popped it over a Cuttlebug embossed dotted image.  I love that little dot. I created my sentiment tag by stamping the image with Distress Marigold ink and embossing with clear powder.  I drew a stem with a marker and then painted in leaves with moss reinker.  I went over the outline of the leaves with a marker to give more definition. I used petite oval Nestabilities to cut the layers. This is not my norm but I had lots of fun playing. This is short tonight as I got a late start this evening and for some reason my husband likes to get a little supper when he gets home.

  1. Very Pretty. I love the color combo. The way you cut the flowers out and let the pretty polka dot background show through is great.
