Rubbernecker Stamp Company Introduces The Jeanne Streiff Collection

Today is the long awaited day! INTRODUCING

…..drum roll please….

The Jeanne Streiff Collection for Rubbernecker Stamp Company.

The last few weeks have been very exciting for the Rubbernecker design team as we waited to see Jeanne's new floral and flourish images and finally getting them in our hands to play with. Rubbernecker is releasing them on the site today so hop on over and take a look.

I found these solid images wonderful to work with on watercolor paper.  I inked up the stamp, sprayed with water and stamped the on the paper. I love to go back with a marker and add some lines and then wash a bit with a wet brush to create a soft and muted look but still showing some dimension in the flower. The possibilities are endless with these gorgeous images.  I love Sherry's idea to have two of each image-one to keep whole and one to cut apart to use in a variety of ways. I can visualize everything from old fashioned floral bouquets created with the green foliage image and flowers to totally modern designs.

You will certainly want to check out all the senior design team blog posts today to see what they have all come up with. Broni, Candy, Linda , Shelly,Sherry  and our course our very ownClapping

I made this card for the Tuesday color challenge on SCS using red, soft sky and bayou blue. I love the elegant flourish with the wheat design as a simple background for my three flower blossoms.  I added a touch of gold embossing to the flowers,  red layer and the spiral hardware to add a vintage look. The flowers and leaves are popped up for added dimension.
