Christmas Birds

I have had such a wonderful time creating Christmas cards with bird themes and using my bird and evergreen punches. I also love simple outdoor snowy scenes with a touch of red and green for Christmas. Here are a few that I made over the past several days.

I wanted to show off this gorgeous red, green and black paper and applying only the simple snowy birds nest and ribbon.

Here’s a simple snowy birds nest with pine needles, pine cones and red gingham.  I added white flower soft on the punched evergreen softness.

I really love the simplicity of this all white card with the snow covered tree limbs and little decorated bird house.  I liked this little scene so much that I photographed the main image, sized it to fit on a 3X3 inch card size and printed out on photo paper to mass produce for little greetings and gift enclosures.

I cut the picture out with deckle scissors and attached to red cardstock.  I added the tiny red bow on the card as the perfect finishing embellishment.

I hope you have a great week and that your holiday preparations are winding down.

  1. Wow – wow – wow! What a great idea to take a picture of the card and duplicate it; this is brilliant! 🙂 Love them all but especially the snow!

  2. These are all so awesome, Kittie. I especially love the little cards you “mass produced”. Can’t believe I haven’t made Christmas cards this year. With more time next year, stamping again regularly is something I really look forward to…and your cards will always be in my favorites for inspiration!
