My project today was made with Murray With Catch. Poor Murray! It seems he can’t catch anything larger than a minnow but he is proudly displaying it. “Is that the catch or the bait?” is just the perfect sentiment to accompany Murray.
I stamped Murray on watercolor paper, painted with reinkers mixed with water and cut out. I popped him up over a plain white background so he would pop and be the main focus of the card. I used some fun nautical paper for the card base.
Here are a couple other projects that I made for the challenges over the weekend using my Martha Stewart flower punches.
I hope you have a great week. Don’t forget to check back tomorrow for the Rubbernecker Blog Hop and Release of all the new “Old Characters” images.

Adorable card and the saying goes perfectly with the image of Murray and the fish!
Awesome card! I love your choice of papers and the fishing line from the rod to the sign.I bet cutting out that fishing rod was tedious. TFS
Fabulous art Miss Kittie. I have to go to the store now and find that Martha Stewart punch! 😉 Thanks!
Like the coloring and the nautical paper…Murray looks like he is thinking of the ‘fish story’ he will tell about his catch.
Just love that sentiment with the old man, the paper piecing on the bunny is cute and love how you have him mounted and your flowers are so pretty in the last card!
You used the perfect paper for Murray today Kittie! great watercoloring on him! Your paperpieced bunny is just SO sweet too!
You just have to love Murray; he’s so proud of his catch….no matter the size! Great choice of nautical dp and I love the fishies hanging off the sentiment tag.
Your bunny card is so sweet and precious!! The paper-piecing is terrific, especially how the ears blend in with the matching bg dp. Such a cute idea to do that.
You are rockin’ that MS flower punch, Kittie. I love the beautiful blue and layout in your last floral card.
Love Murray. Think that is how my daughter felt yesterday-friends went fishing but didn’t catch much.
Love the springy looking cards-both are great.

That first card is so adorable and reminds me so much of my grampa! The second card is so totally adorable Kittie, just love those sweet little flowers, such an adorable card with that sweet little bunny nestled amongst the ferns! And the third card is so perfect to give to a favored friend! Love them all!
Ok, if Edna and Ralph are married, Murray has to be Ralph’s brother! This is too cute, Kittie! Wonderful coloring as always!
