My project today was made using an image called Blossom Birds from Penny Johnson’s new Vintage Collection. What a wonderful image to color.
I stamped the image on watercolor paper and watercolored using reinkers. I created a frame with a Martha Stewart punch set and created the double mat opening with square Nestabilities. I mounted the frame using mounting tape. I crimped green cardstock and punched out the leaves to create a an arrangement of foliage and flowers to embellish the card. I thought the light blue organdy multi loop bow was the perfect finishing touch. You can check out my punched flower tutorial and flower spray tutorial if you would like to know how I made my flowers.
I hope you have a great time on our blog hop. Good luck on winning one of those prizes.

Lovely card!! I know you use reinkers for watercoloring quite often. Do you have a favorite brand that gives the best colors when used this way? I just watched a tutorial on using distress inks for watercoloring, but I know people were using other reinkers long before there were distress inks.
Wow – absolutely beautiful. Love those cute little birds. Great job!!
