My project today was made using Child With Bouquet. This is such a sweet whimsical image and I couldn’t resist placing her walking along a garden path picking up flowers along the way.

KC Child with Bouquet
I stamped the image on watercolor paper and painted the portions that would not be covered by her paper pieced dress and then cut it out. I stamped the image again on designer paper, cut out the dress and apron and attached to the main image.  I added a few sprigs of greenery behind the little flower images in the girls hands and then attached the image to the yellow gingham card base. I mounted the eyelet frame over the image and created the garden with punched foliage and tiny flowers,  This is a perfect card for a little girl for any occasion.

Be sure and check out the Rubbernecker Blog for today’s design team participants.

  5. What a sweet image. I love how you paper-pieced her dress and had her “strolling and picking” in the framed area. Love the handmade flowers and leaves. Great card Kittie, I have always enjoyed your work.
