Rubbernecker Blog

I have two projects to share with your today. The first is made with Flower Basket.

KC Flower Basket
I stamped the image on watercolor paper a couple of times, one for the card base and the other to cut flowers to arrange along the bottom and to pop up over some of the flowers in the basket.  All images were watercolored with reinkers. The bright color combination reminds me of an old fashioned garden. I thought the blue and white frame over the pumpkin card base was the perfect way to highlight the baskets of flowers.

KC Garden Tree Set 2
The second project is a clean and simple card highlighting the lovely sentiment from the new Garden Tree Set. The sentiment was stamped with versa and embossed with gold embossing powder.  The finishing touch was a soft gold organdy bow with white punched vellum and gold punched flowers.

I hope you enjoy our blog hop and don’t forget to check out all  the new releases at Rubbernecker.

  1. Did you get to choose your own words or was it pure serendipity that you got something as suitable as watercolour :D.
That first card is a riot of gorgeous summer colour – makes me think of the best cared-for herbaceous borders – and in the second one you’ve taken your beautiful floral arrangements up a notch or two into utter elegance.
