I rarely get to play in the Splitcoaststampers sketch challenge but had the opportunity to yesterday evening. The minute I saw the sketch I knew I wanted to play with my Poinsettia die set again. Here is the sketch for the challenge.
Here’s what I came up with.
I love the red trim on the all white card and the way the poinsettias pop. I love the simple holiday sentiment and letting the flowers shine.
I hope to post a step by step tutorial this weekend on how I make my poinsettias and add them to a floral spray or wreath. I have just a couple steps that I do after cutting the die that seems to breath life into the flower.
I hope you are having a great week. Thanks for stopping in.

Very beautiful! Read about your punch…..glad that you found a replacement! I just can’t imagine some of your cards without those darling “ferns”.
Your sweet little trio of poinsettias looks great on your card. The red border really sets them off.
Thanks for sharing! 🙂
Gorgeous flowers and card-neat sketch!
I love poinsettias and this is absolutely gorgeous!! I will have to try it. TFS
You just do the BEST designs whether extravagant or simple Kittie. Love the way your blooms stand out and I have those spellbinders on order thanks to your lovely enabling!! Hoping to make them as delish (a la Pat!!) as yours!! But now, speaking of delish, my name will be mud if I don’t make supper :)!! Hugs~
