White Poinsettias and Blue winter’s Night

Happy Friday and time for the weekend.  I am looking forward to being home.  How about you?  The Ways To Use It Challenge on Splitcoaststampers this week was to use some form of a template on our card and I turned to my fun window die.

Kc The Moose is Loose 29 right

I die cut out a window made with regular printer paper and created a mask over white cardstock.  I sponged and stamped my snowy moonlight scene and then removed the template to show the white window panes.  I cut another window from white cardstock, cut out the panes and then mounted the outer portion of the window over the scene and attached it to the card base.

I created three white poinsettias with blue foliage and white pine sprigs to embellish the window.  I added a touch of sparkle to the pine and flowers with Stickles  but it doesn’t’ show well in the photos.  The flower centers are tiny rhinestones.

  3. Such a gorgeous card!! As much as I love red and white, there’s just something about blue and white that may be even more special. I may have to try both combinations when I finally get out my poinsettia dies. I’ll be lucky to get to try them before Christmas, though at the rate things are going around here.

  5. I was wondering who makes the Window Die that you used in the White Poisettias and Blue Winter’s Night card. I would like to purchase this die, but I am not sure who makes it. Any information would be very helpful.
    Your card is just GORGEOUS!
