Happy Thursday and thanks for stopping in today. I have a fun card to share today that I made for this week’s Sketch Challenge over at Splitcoaststampers.
Ok….so I fudged a little on the sketch because I didn’t end up using those buttons things on my card. I decided the branches and leaves were plenty.
I love the sweet coordinating pink designer paper and was in the mood for something springy. I popped up the birdhouse, added foliage and popped up the birdy.
I cut the tiny leaves off of a rock fern and attached to the branches, put tiny pieces of mounting tape on the backside of the leaves and attached to the card front. I finished by adding lots of tiny flowers to both the tree branches and the foliage around the bird. The perfect finishing touch was the tiny flowers and foliage right over the heart opening.
The week is winding down and I am looking forward to the weekend and some extra stamping time. I hope to be back tomorrow with something special if my work day allows the time.
Paper: Stampin’ Up! DP, White, Chocolate Chip, Olive
Accessories: MFT Homespun Die set, Memory Box Twigs and Berries Die, 1/8" Circle Punch, EK Success Rock Fern, Martha Stewart Branch Punch, Mounting Tape, Glossy Accents, Stylus, Mat
Your card makes me wish for spring to come quickly! Awesome birdhouse and flowers! Gorgeous punchart Kittie!
OH NO! Spring card and I’m sitting here waiting for the snow to start with an estimate of anywhere from 3 to 6 inches! Oh, for spring……soon….I hope! Beautiful card!
Kittie, as usual your card is gorgeous. You ARE my inspiration! I wish I am as creative as you.
Kittie, this is another beautiful creation. I’m in love with these cards you’ve been making lately.
Your cards always amaze me! I love the foliage you add to your designs. Your little bird and it’s home are soooo pretty.
Thank you for sharing! 🙂
Love how your cards never need a sentiment on the front … they speak for themselves.
I love your cards they are absolutely beautiful. Sadly for my purse you keep using dies I have never seen before like this lovely bird house and I just have to have them. Thank you for your inspiration.

I am always in awe of your cards whenever I see them. You’re a wonderful inspiration to me, and I’m sure, many other paper crafters/cardmakers – thank you!

By the way thanks for the reply in December about the punches you use to make the tiny flowers, I have since obtained them and love how they look.
Are you still going to add to your tutorials, or have you added and I just don’t see the template to make the portfolio, that held the set of cards, that you had made for your boss?
Just curious.
Thanks again,
hugs
Donna
Oh Kittie!!! Another ADORABLE card. Love the colours and that branch is awesome. So much work… amazing work!!!
Hi Kittie
Where do you get all your ideas from? You certainly are creative. I check in on you almost everyday to see what you have come up with. I love it!
Blessings…from Leanne
Such a beautiful card Kittie ~ I don’t know how you manage to have the patience to glue down the little pink buds & foilage. You have inspired me to get my “too many to count” punches out and get creating!!
TFS 😀
Love your card! The pink and white looks so fresh and the way you added the leaves and branches is the perfect touch.
Love the branch die, and your little flowers to go with it, lovely decorating of the house too!
Your budding branch is ALL THAT! It looks fantastic on this pretty birdhouse card! 🙂
One of my favorites! Love this.
Kittie – what did you use to create the branch at the top right of the card? I love that effect!
Please explain the MFT Homespun Die set used in “Spring Home Sweet Home” card. I would like to get the bird house and bird to make this card….it is sooo adorable. Thank you.
