I have another pretty rose to share with you today. I wanted the rose to be the main focus of this project so I framed it with a very clean and simple background.
I made this rose by following the step by step tutorial found here on McGill. I die cut the oval opening in the frame and then embossed to get the frame design pattern. I cut a second mat to add another touch of dimension and mounted the frame layer with mounting tape.
I attached the rose to the center of the opening and arranged the leaves and foliage to create the flower spray. This is a very simple card layout but I love how it puts the rose in center stage.
I hope you are having a great week and I really appreciate you stopping by and all of your supportive comments.
Paper: Vanilla Ink: Antique Linen ( touched the petal edges)
Accessories: McGill Rose Set, Martha Stewart Branch Punch, Nestabilities Oval Dies, Stylus, Mat, Glossy Accents, Sponge, Cuttlebug Grace’s Frame Embossing Folder

Another beauty. The rose is gorgeous.
I keep looking at the punch and then at
your rose. The petals look so much smaller
on the punch. I know that is going to be the
next punch on my list to get after seeing
how beautiful your roses look. Thanks again
for sharing.
Your rose is gorgeous!! Love the embossing folder you chose..frames it beautifully!
Hugs,
Sheree
