I have another fun scene card to share with you today using my Memory Box and Poppy Stamps dies. I love the country home die and thought it would look so sweet with the wrought iron fence and garden flowers.
I created the flower garden by cutting the Wildflower Patch a couple of times in green. I then cut the flower heads using pink, yellow and white. I cut the colored flowers off at the stem. I snipped off a small portion of the green flower heads so they wouldn’t show and attached the colored flowers with Glossy Accents. I cut the tree and clouds out of white cardstock. I colored the limbs and branches with a brown marker and the leaves with a green.
I cut two different layers of green for the ground area and attached to the base of the scene. I attached the clouds in the sky, tucked the bottom of the house, tree and all the flower stems behind the front layer. The wrought iron fence was a pretty finishing touch.
If you would like to see step by step photos of how I create my die cut scenes hop on over to Ellen Hutson’s CLASSroom to see my spring card tutorial. You will also have a chance to win several of the dies I used in my project.
I hope you have a great week. I also want to let you know how thrilled I was with all the wonderful comments on my CLASSroom project. Thank you so much.

So very cute. How is it I’ve missed your blog all these years. I went way back and your cards are consistently the most beautiful. Flowers are magnificent. Glad I found you. Can’t wait to see more as your directions are so good too. Edna
I am delighted that more people have found your blog through the Classroom. You deserve so much credit for your generosity. You so willingly share how you make your beautiful cards and the tools needed. I love today’s card. It reminds me of a house near Ocala FL that I pass when I travel to south Florida. Hope your week at work will be a little easier.
I just love this country home scene. You do amazing work with these dies – you truly bring them to “life”. Thanks for sharing.

Hey Miss Kittie — Just adore this card and I guess *sigh*, I have to add another die to my shopping list after seeing your tree twice this past weekend 🙂 Glad everyone is following you from Ellen’s post, but that means less time for me, oh dear ! XoX
Every card is so creative. I feel inadequate but so inspired by your ability to pull together these individual works of art. Congratulations on finding your path and thank you for being so open and free with your instructions for those of us who are still taking baby steps.
amazing Kittie – you are the master!
