Hot Pink Roses and Cards For Sale

Card Sale Closed!!  Thank you!!!

Good Saturday morning.  I hope you are having a great start to the holiday weekend.  The project I am sharing with you today was made for the Splitcoaststampers Free For All challenge to use hot pink.  I decided to a few hot pink rolled roses would be beautiful on a crisp all white background.  Here is what I came up with.

I embossed the white main layer using one of the folders from the Sizzix Loving Thoughts set. I die cut the pink oval using oval dies and attached it using glossy accents.  I used the larger of the two My Favorite Things Mini Rolled Roses dies to create the three roses.  I think they are so sweet and delicate against the green foliage and white background.  Here’s a closer look.

I used the Punch Bunch Ash Leaf and Martha Stewart Branch punch to create the floral spray around the roses and added the sweet mini white flowers made from the Memory Box Flower Mound to appear like baby’s breath. I created the ribbon streamers and loop using strips of the same pink cardstock so it would match the flowers perfectly.  I love how elegant the roses look with the gorgeous embossed pattern.

  2. Love all your creations. They are lovely. Would you do a video on cutting the memory box dies? I got a few memory box dies but when I cut them, they do not cut out smoothly. I was just wondering what machine do you use to cut the dies.
