Good Saturday morning. I have an Splitcoaststampers Inspiration Challenge to share with you this morning. The site for our inspiration was French Garden House and I was inspired by this Vintage Rhinestone Crown Tiara.
I have had the Tim Holtz Accoutrements Fanciful button set for a while and hadn’t used any of them. I thought the three beautiful silver and rhinestone buttons would be pretty as centers in vintage flowers. Too bad they don’t show as well in the photo as they do in person. They are gorgeous elegant buttons. Here’s a closer view.
I embossed the white layer with one of the folders from the Sizzix Corners & Lattice set and attached to the pink base. I die cut the frame using the My Favorite Things Label Stax Set 2 and attached it to the card base with mounting tape.
I used pliers to cut the shanks off the back of the buttons so they would lay flat. I removed the silver and rhinestone section out of two the button casings to fit in the smaller flowers. I die cut the flowers and foliage and formed them using my stylus and mat and attached the buttons to the center with glossy accents.
I arranged the leafy flourish foliage, silver trimmed ribbon and flowers to the frame and card base with glossy accents.
Here’s a closer view.
I hope you are having a wonderful and restful weekend. Thanks for stopping by and for all of your warm and encouraging comments. I appreciate it more than you know.
