Good Thursday morning. Before I start my post I want to draw your attention to the 30% off of Tim Holtz idea-ology products at Rubbernecker Stamps.
By now you know you have it figured out that I love adding texture using my crimpers. I had fun making this card using the old truck from my Rubbernecker Kittie Kits Fall Harvest set and pairing it with the new Impression Obsession Christmas Tree die,
I stamped the tree on red cardstock and again on gray cardstock using versafine onyx black pigment ink and embossing with black embossing powder. I cut the window out with my kraft knife and cut the red truck out and layered over the wheel section of the gray truck. I slit the bed of the truck so I could tuck small Christmas trees in the back.
I lightly added liquid applique around the border of the crimped trees and on the truck for a snowy effect and added dots of LA to the sky area for falling snow. The snow drift layer was cut using deckle scissors, crimped with the wave crimper. and attached with mounting tape. The little sparkly star on the tallest tree and the Tree Sales sign and bow on the back of the truck were the perfect finishing touches.
Have a great day and thanks for stopping by. Oh….and thanks to you for all the wonderful ideas you have given me for crating stained glass for new Poppy Stamps windows.

I really need to remember my crimper more often. It gives so much texture to the card. Beautiful!
