Warm Winter Wishes

My project today is made with Impression Obsession’s Mitten set and Snowflakes set.  I have a friend who always turns her nose up at mitten images and dies because she thinks they look like boxing gloves.  LOL!  And she is not totally wrong.  But I love making mittens into adorable festive holiday and winter projects. 

I die cut the mitten once using designer paper and once in white. I cut the white sections with deckle scissors and crimped them for dimension. I mounted the mitten on the card base using mounting tape for a level of dimension.

I paired the large snowflake from the Mitten set with a matching snowflake from the Snowflakes set. I stamped the sentiment on white using Broken China and embossed with clear embossing powder.  I cut it out using the scalloped circle die from the Mini Circle Tag set and layered it over a punched circle.

I popped the two snowflakes up on mounting tape and attached to the mitten. The tiny satin bow was perfect for the center of the snowflakes and to bring a little red in to match the embossed background. I thought the tiny snowflakes were the perfect finishing touch.
