Kittie, I love your window cards, your tutorials and your fabulous bows. I love to use ribbon, but keep to single or double bows. I do not do bows easily! I like to use ribbon to cover paper patches and booboos! I'd love to add even more ribbon to my stash!! OMGoodness……

For my project today I used the Pine Branch and the Border Duo 1

Nothing says holidays to me like good old-fashioned pine decorations. I love lots of red ribbons tied on pine wreaths, pine boughs and swags.

I have used this exact layout on several cards recently using the pine branch. It is one of my all time favorite dies and paired with a red and white gingham bow and decorative border    lends itself to making a big show on a project while being simple and understated.

I cut the Border Duo 1 layer and popped it up on the card front with mounting tape.  I cut four of the pine branches, formed them with my stylus and mat and attached them to the front of the card with glossy accents.  You can see there are three full branches down and pieces of the fourth cut into smaller sections and popping out from behind the multi loop bow

  1. Love your creation today. That pine bough is on my list of things to buy. I have the pine bough punch, but this one seems bigger and just so pretty.

  4. Your so right, pine branches are always what I think of during the holidays and this die cut is awesome. I love that you kept the card simple with the branches and my favorite red gingham ribbon. The white card just sets it off beautifully.

  5. Hi Kitty,
Do you have any tips on how to cut the pine branch cleanly? I have tried everything and cannot get a clean cut. I end up doing a lot of trimming with scissors which is a big pain.
Your card is wonderful as is all your creations!
