Madison Park Bench

Good Saturday morning.  My project today was made using the new Poppystamps Madison Park Bench.  I tired to create a park setting with the vines, flowers and the wrought iron fence in the background that matched the iron on the bench. I may have covered up the ends of the bench a little too much with the flowers but I never seem to be able to resist.  I thought the summer border was perfect in the foreground with the lavish branch on the fence. Both were cut apart to fit in the scene. 

I hand cut the larger green grass section and attached it to the card base along with the fence.  I cut two sections of the summer border with green, cut all the flowers off one to use just the scalloped border to place in front of the bench. I cut the flower/butterfly portion of the border with pink and cut them off to pop up over the green.  I added tiny formed flowers from the flower mound over top of them to add dimension.  I cut the lavish branch and again also added tiny flowers for additional color and attached to the fence with glossy accents.

I attached the bench in front of the fence and used mounting tape on the top portion to pop up for dimension. I attached the flower border in front of the bench with mounting tape and applied rolled glue dots behind the flower heads to hold them in place.  I added several of the tiny butterfly delights and puffy clouds to finish the scene. I would enjoy sitting in that spot and enjoying a beautiful day.
